The Importance Of Urgency
Chances are, if they don’t act in our favor now, they may not act in our favor at all. What I am talking about here is acting on our poker room offers in particular. That stuff is certainly important, but there is a lot more to this.
Forestalling Indecision
Probably the most important factor in prompting conversion is looking at the likely and even possible reasons for them to not do it, and then addressing those reasons as best we can to overcome them. There are a lot of reasons that this might end up being the case in fact, and the better we can set this off and help them overcome these factors which may prevent them from doing it, the better.
There are of course some reasons that we may not be able to overcome at all, or at least not in the immediate future, such as their being too young to play real money poker in the first place. Perhaps they are only twelve years old, for instance, and are years away from being able to do what we want them to do.
Perhaps they don’t have the money right now to deposit, so that’s something that is going to stop us right now, but perhaps we can still get them to sign up through our affiliate link anyway and deposit later when they can.
This might happen without our even trying, if they are interested enough, but they may not realize that this is an option, nor see any point in it, or maybe it might not even occur to them to do it.

Other Reasons Not To Act
There are a lot of reasons why they might not act right now in fact, and it will pay for us to have a look at these in a little more detail as we go along. Among these reasons, indecision is probably the biggest one. So they haven’t decided not to do it, but at the same time they haven’t decided to do it right now either.
Perhaps they feel they need to think about it, and that’s possible, but more likely is the scenario where they feel they need to find out more, or compare different offers and look into the details of them more closely.
Perhaps they even feel like they need a second opinion, and whoever provides the final opinion wins, and if they have to go elsewhere to get another one, it won’t be our affiliate link they sign up through, that’s for sure.
So the first thing we need to focus on here is actually doing our best to forestall this indecision that may occur naturally, where we’re looking to not only convey a high degree of confidence in both our opinion and the poker sites we’re looking to promote, and to also lower the stress level and hopefully remove it by explaining that there’s no harm at all in trying out any good poker room.
As well, we don’t want to create conflict to add to this, for instance to encourage them to do too much comparing and therefore perhaps be unable to reach a decision while on our site. This will be the topic of the next article.
